CEL - Fault code P0442

Hi All,

My Check engine light on my 2001 Jetta TDI w/ 125,000KM just came on. I read the code on the OBD2 and found the fault code to be P0442, which is EVAP Emission Contr.Sys.(Small Leak) Leak Detected. Has anyone had this issue before or can offer some advice on how to fix this issue?

16828. You'll need to find out what this code is for a diesel. Your text is for a gasser. That is, there is no evap emmisions control system for a diesel.

try over at ross-tech.com . ask/search for the code but be sure to mention it is a diesel.
