Radar detector? People still use these? I don't think troopers are aggressively targeting VW Wagons. Speed limits are probably at least 75 that whole run, and usually you can run 9-10 over without much worry, thats moving along pretty good on a car you don't know yet. imho
I recently drove round trip from Phx to Mpls, 2200 miles each way, took 29 hours each way, never went over 85.
But you drive safe and enjoy your new ride!

I just got home with it an hour ago. I was holding off updating/making it official until I've got it registered locally.

But man... I'm really impressed with how it drives and handles. It, and those years of autocross/track, managed a deer-evasion at ~75mph (speed limit 70 and my sight was temporarily dazed because the driver coming at me was slow to turn off high beams). It was close enough that if my window was open, I probably could've reached out to slap her arse/tail .

This is also my first car made in this millennium, so all those creature comforts are SO nice (while they still work).
