bought a brand new left over 2012 tdi 2dr tech golf 6 speed. brand new did malone stage 2 and down pipe, koni yellow sports, h&r springs, wave trac, south bend stage 2 endurance, stickey tires, gonna hit the track at VIR for time trials and she what she can do . hope she can run as good as my 02 on the track. seems to pull allot harder and handle better.

You may have ESP issues with that in the corners. Where are you located?

My '12 Golf TDI has a switch down on the center console to disable ESP. I'd be inclined to try laps with and without to see how it affects handling.

The push button switch doesn't actually eliminate the stability and Traction control completely, as soon as you are actually pushing the car on the track you will start to feel the brakes trying to catch the car and straighten you out. not fun. there is a way around it, however, that allows you to retain ABS.

don't you have to disable the steering angle sensor via vag com. it is the only way I know how to do it. in Stafford Va here

Made to the track ran the south course only carnage was my front race tires. Ran a 1.3391 best time playing with some pretty impressive cars will post some videos from my go pro cam. Ran with some full out race cars and some street cars car did pull well and handled great very neutral on the track.
