Lots and lots and lots of city driving and no high-torque driving that might slip it. South Bend recommends 500 miles of city driving. (I've had two of them). They used to recommend 750 miles of highway, but no longer do.

If you are well below the rated clamping force, no break-in may be needed. During break-in the actual clamping force may be half or so of rated until it fully mates up.

Follow the recommendations of whatever clutch you get, though.

local dragstrip? That's what Jetpuf does! In all seriousness, I'd prefer a couple hundred miles of easy city stop/go. I've always just drove about 250/300 miles and it's good to go after that.

Eh, the only break-in required is to drive it. Maybe avoid WOT at low rpms.

But you can basically not worry about it whatsoever. If it ever slips, then back off, that's all.
