Back seat interior light - won't turn on automatically

The back seat interior light suddenly stopped turning on automatically when we open the back doors. It will turn on manually, and none of the bulbs are burned out.

Is there some switch or setting that turns this feature on/off? I was sure I would have found others with the same problem here, but my search turned up nothing.

For me it was the light assemby iself, drove me nuts. Didn't notice it was not just a lamp but also a switch, try pushing it, toggle maybe a better word.
Unless center headliner switch also does that function?
