Anyone ELSE Switch To An Awesome BMW Diesel?

We did! Back in the summer, we bought a 2010 mint condition, one owner, 82K mile, BMW X5 Xdrive d335 twin turbo 3.0L straight 6 diesel. We absolutely love it!

Also last summer, we took it from our home is south FL to our son's in LA (towing a Smart car diesel, left it in LA), the visited another son in Portland, OR, then visited smoky mountains, then back to south FL, for a total of almost 9K trouble-free miles.

To correct a typo, it is actually an awesome BMW X5 Xdrive d35.

A diesel is almost ALWAYS the best way to go! I thought about a Chevy Cruze diesel, when we recently bought a 2014 1.4L turbo gas Cruze, but they are very rare & hard to find, and besides, I found our gasser gets a little over 40 MPG at 60 MPH, and a little under 40 MPG at 65 MPH, so the cost per mile is probably virtually the same as our '09 Jetta TDI.
