Looking to buy a new clutch master and slave cylinder. Are there any good aftermarket part places or should I stick with OEM?

Are there any good aftermarket part places? Yeah, many. Just off the top of my head...

I found a set on eBay from xkd-vag parts. Any experience with them?

You will be much ahead to use our vendors to get parts rather than unknown stuff from ebay. Go look in the vendor thread and price some out at their sites. Never buy anything from a person called Rothenbacher or Prothe. He owns many web sites as well as on ebay.

This line from their web site would cause me worry over Chinese parts.

“U.S. stock only for U.S. buyer, other countries will send from China.”

Usually I would look for a OEM brand that isn't labeled as a vw part. In some cases you could be looking at 1/3rd for the same part the dealer would give you. For those parts I suggest getting FTE brand. It's very possible that your originals are that brand and you can find both for under $175 shipped total.
