Adjusting Rear Window Sprayer

In our 2010 JSW TDI, my wife reports that the rear window sprayer shoots the fluid stream in an upward direction that doesn't hit the glass. Is this adjustable? I see a tiny metal nozzle in there with an oriface, but I don't want to stick a pin in there and try to move it if it's not meant to move.

Thank you for any thoughts. (Man this car is FUN TO DRIVE!)

I can't say for sure what the case is for our JSW's, but on prior cars like my 2000 Golf, you just took a pin or a pick, stuck it in the hole, and coaxed it in the direction you wanted it to point. The factory was supposed to set it with an aiming tool that does essentially the same thing. The nozzle is sort of a ball-in-socket, so it just rotates around. You can set it to squirt the car behind you if you like, Herbie-style. :)

Most likely, our JSW's work the same way.

It also works really well to "pee" on tail-gating drivers if aimed correctly. Luckily in the past most people found it funny, and chose not to rearend me. ;))
