Hey all I have a 2008 A4 2.0l TDI Cabriolet 7 speed cvt, I have a few problems
The car starts fine I can't see any Smoke at any time, the car takes 2 seconds to move from stand still, it just boosts to 3k rpm and then starts moving its 0-62 time is way below spec, it also struggles after 80mph (takes a long time to reach 100mph) seems I do not have much top end power, it struggles to go past 100mph and if going up gradient it struggles from 60mph, its starts fine, no leaks BUT ITS ABUSING FUEL I'm seeing sometimes 18MPG, I have so far done the following
Cleaned egr (was terrible)
Air filter wasn't bad
Changed thermostat
Changed map sensor
Replaced oil
Oil filter
Fuel filter
Tandem pump
Crank sensor
It has not solved my problem the following readouts are from idle in neutral and 2800rpm in neutral, I am fairly new to diagnostics but it seems that perhaps I have a clogged DPF and a problem with Injector 4, or possibly cam/lobe problem can anyone confirm my thinking (I haven't done a compression test yet) THANKS ALOT
