Hi I have currently brought a 9n 1.9L turbo diesel and thinking of upgrading the turbo to a bigger one would I have to replace the injectors as well or does that depend on how big the turbo is

Which engine code does the Polo have? ASZ or BLT? The BLT has the small KKK charger, the small charge air cooling and only 520 PDE.
The ASZ has at least the 550 PDE and a Garrett loader. Here it is enough to swap the charger plus a large intercooler.

Axr I think where do I find the engine code ??

If it's the AXR, then the PDE are even smaller and so is the turbocharger. It's also from KKK Borg Warner.
The engine code is on the timing belt cover or in the service booklet.
