Anyone for Electric door latches (part#,3B1837015AS) these little beauties are what cause your alarm to go off randomly and makes it so your lights will be left on as the chime wont sound when you open the door. $180+taxes (retails $233.99) I will bring the book on how to do them as I am going to do my GF's drivers side at least. Call me ahead of time if you want one of these. Not going to hold stock of them otherwise.

Cheers
Erik

well 2 weeks to go folks :)
Hi Eric,
I read and responded to a newbie post this morning. Woody86 lives in Chilliwack too and needs someone with a vag-com to find out what his CEL means. I left a post inviting him to the 23rd GTG. He has an 04 Golf TDI with nearly 90K he purchased from a dealer recently. That must have the PD BEW engine, I think and if so is the timing belt interval on those 160,000 Km's or 100,000 miles like my 2006.5 or is it less?

Hope to see you on the 23rd to reclaim my hat.
Thanks,
Frank

I'd love to come out to the GTG but as it stands I'm stuck working the 9-5 in Maple Ridge. I'm gonna see if I can duck out early or come up with the day off so I can drop by. How late until the crowd tends to disperse?

If not, theres always next time.

hey remember we were chatting about front wheel bearing replacement, i am about to do that this week, but funny thing is I got my tires rotated at kal tire and they insisted that I needed both inner tie rods replaced for a total or close to $650 so i just said yea thanks, brought the car to my good friend kevin in kelowna and he said they were fine and it was what i presumed and the wheel bearings are getting done on tuesday. So basically wht I am saying is get your tires there but don't trust thier mechanical abilitoies :)

Woo Woo Woody,no drooling over or in the cars. But we are very happy to explain the mods .Meangreen is down for the summer (winter tires dont like the TORQUE).But come summer time she will be back in full force.

I do need to wash her when time comes for this GTG,but this rain dont help much keeping the car clean.

Ed,NJ are you guys coming this time?

Ya, I'll make it to this one.

Sorry about the last one. I was one my way on HWY 1, and had to turn around. Something came up.

I'll bring some beer and bread. Got a glow plug fault today, so I might clean up those contacts.

Anyone got the supplies to do battery maintenance?
I've never done it, and think it is an easy simple thing to do.
Hydrometre anyone?

Is anyone in need of a euro switch for the a4 body? I bought one a while ago from vm autohaus and turns out the wiring job was at fault and not the switch, so I have an extra switch.
