2260VKLR Hella Actuator

Hey there guys

Was wondering if anyone has experience with the MB actuator from the 2260vklr

It has the 5 pin connector and google searches haven’t really revealed weather its a CAN unit or a PWM controlled

if anyone has any previous experiencewith this unit some help would be amazing

i am in the process of making a new manifold up to change from a 2260vk to the VKLR in my PD130 Mk2 Golf

Well if anyone is after confirmation, This unit works well on EDC15p invert the PWM and drop the Frequency from 300hz to 140hz and disable the DTC for the N75

I'm about to go the same route. The F10 2260 hybrid I have with a vklr core has at the moment been vacuum converted but even thought it spools nice the turbo seems to choke at higher rpms so need to see if the vklr vnt ring can open any more. Whilst the turbo is off I'm going to set up the electronic actuator in the space I have left which will give enough clearance from the actuator to the rest of the things on the back of the engine. I'm wondering how well it works over vacuum or if the electronic actuator moves quicker or is just more controllable

put it this way the response is snappy and precise… if I never had to have a Vaccum actuated vnt again, I would be quite happy
