2006 vw jetta tdi pkg2 no auto headlights ????!!!

just had to ring in here I just purchased a 2006 jetta pkg2 and it does not have auto headlights?? whats up even base model chevs/fords 2006 have auto headlights doooohhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a 97 passat that did not have them but I assumed a 2006 would have them by now

has VW gone loco?????

sorry for the flame but I think VW got awfully cheapo on this considering it was the highest tdi package offered for the year

You mean headlights that automatically come on when it gets dark? I think this is an uncommon option on any car.

by auto I mean when you shut down the car they automaticly shut off so you dont drain the battery

You missed it by a half model year. The 05.5 had auto headlights and rain sensing wipers. Not so much on the 06 and 06.5. I have an 06 as well as an 05.5, amazing the amount of decontenting after the first run of 05.5's.
