Is there an advantage of using a 3 bar map even if you do not plan on boosting over 20? Would the 3 bar be more linear since you would be controlling more in the middle of it's scale rather than the upper end of the 2 bar map.
Boost doesn't come out of nowhere. Boost comes from exhaust gas dynamics so if you want to have more boost more energy has to be put on turbine to spin it faster -> therefore higher EMP -> higher load to the engine -> efficiency is worse -> worse mileage.Why is more boost during part load bad??
