I just upgraded my brakes to R32 brakes on my Jetta. Before even ordering the parts, I double and triple-checked various forums to make sure Exor wheels would fit. The user Graeme in Australia even sent me a list of the subset of VW 17-inch wheels that would fit over R32 brakes.

Of course, when I tried to install them, they didn't. My TDI mechanic Justin here in Portland explained it to me this way:
Its not the face of the wheel hitting the front of the caliper, its the outside of the caliper hitting the inside of the wheel
Luckily, I have a set of 18-inch BBS RC wheels. All this setback really does it prevent me from realizing my plan to have summer and winter wheels.

Has anyone here run Exors on R32 brakes? My Exors were brand new when I bought them. They aren't warped. I can't imagine they're "replicas" or "fakes." The only variable I found is that mine have part numbers that start with 1J0 but on the myturbodiesel wheel database, the ones they show start with 6Q0.
