Trying to diagnose my intermittent low power on my new to me B4V
My glow plug light is flashing, CEL is on, and low/intermittent/power. I've Been following the troublshooting low power sticky http://forums.tdiclub.com/showthread.php?t=75959 as my Bible I started out replacing any vacumn lines that were questionable. The line inside my ECU hadn't failed but I replaced it anyway while I was in there. I still had low power. Aftyer spraying the N75 with some WD40 and getting some power, I replaced the N75 valve which gave me more but intermittent power. The (springloaded?) wastegate moves OK
Jetter loaned me the vag=com cable and my stored codes are as follows:
00542 Needle lift Sensor (G80) 30-10 Open or short to plus- intermittent.
00575 intake manifold pressure 17-10 control difference - intermittent.
01050 Glow Plug Monitoring 35-10---intermittent
I got the old multi-meter out, tested the unplugged #3 injector plug and got a reading ~200 on my car verses a near 0 reading on an award winning show and shine B4V (Who waxes the under-side of their hood ) My question: do I need to do further diagnosis before I just go for the #3 injector to fix my intermittent power.
