\'00 NB TDI

Here's some pictures of my '00 New Beetle TDI. It has a black leather interior, 5 spd., and luxury package.
Some of the things I've added are a New Dimensions rear spoiler, VW splash-guards, VW floor mats, Audi TT pedals, Perfect Fit bra, and painted brake calipers
I also hand made the front license plate with the abstract art NB logo. I also hand made the fog light stone guards.
Hope you like the pics!

Re: \'00 NB TDI

Steve, looks great.

have a couple of questions for you about the add-ons:

- how was the installation of the perfect fit bra?

- how was the installation of the tt pedals?

- how was the installation of the mudflaps?

re: the bra & mudflaps, I'm specifically wondering how much drilling you had to do & if there were any problems affecting the finish.

re: the tt pedals -- did you go with the 3 pedals only, or also the footrest?

thanks for the info, I'm thinking about all of these myself.

Great car - Yellow/Black contrast to the max.

BTW, Peter was so kind inserting the picture in the original thread. Because of redundance I deleted the "Picture thread".

Re: \'00 NB TDI

Where did you get the TT pedals? Did they require drilling for installation?
Please advise.
Thank you.

Richard, they're pretty easy to find. Your lcoal Audi dealer's parts department is one place to get them. You'll likely spend a lot there, though. On the web, lots of people like dealing with Potterman. Look in the knick-knacks section of their catalog on http://www.parts4vws.com/ .

The Audi TT pedals are very easy to install. They are an exact replacement for the stock pedals, including the dead pedal. The go pedal fits over the existing go pedal. It took me about 1/2 hour to do all of them.

Re: \'00 NB TDI

chutzpah, I went to the VW site you recommended, the don't seem to have anything for Beetles, and most of the pages are either under construction,or can not be displayed.
Maybe they're out of business !!

Re: \'00 NB TDI

Er, they were still there this morning. I have noticed "outages" on their web site before. Heavy demand/slow server? I sent them an email this morning about something not on their web site, but I haven't heard back just yet. Here's their phone number: (714) 663-2434. The go/stop/clutch pedal covers are $43 for the three, and the dead pedal is $50.
