Thanks Gerrywac and macombi. I took the offending bolt off last night to clean and it had a small residue that I removed, reattached, and seems to have solved the leak issue. we shall see. I did see the lines from ECS and if I need to replace, will use those as I may replace the washers...

Well... I probably should be a little embarrassed.... the garbled lines are the hand brake lines. I ordered new ones and removed the old ones tonight. I also replace the calipers. I am wondering?? should I lube the pins or trust that the rebuilt ones were done correctly?

I replaced my calipers and they came with new copper washers, but I couldn't get the old washers off the top and bottom of the bolt that fastens the line to the caliper. Is there a trick to getting them off? They look to be the original aluminum washers. One of the lines is leaking slightly...

Thanks Millerman61... I have the metalnerd tool and have done this a few times... the pads..that is. Mystery solved. It turns out the pins on the right side were frozen in. I am not sure how that happened as the boots are good... but... it is what it is. I ordered a new mounting...

After examining the fuse holders above the battery, the left most 30A fuse was burnt and the holder looked a little melted as well. I cleaned the fuse, but was not really able to get into the female holder part to clean it... so I ordered a new holder from autohaus for $33. After cleaning the...

sigh... ok... when it says to check voltage across a fuse... sorry if this sounds ignorant.. but I guess I am :)... I take the fuse out, put the voltage meter with red on one side and black on the other? Should the car be running or just switch turned on?

update: thermoswitch disconnected and fans are still running. Am I now going to have to follow the guide about electrical debugging? I checked fuse 25... it is not broken.

Let me walk through the steps so far: - problem started with no AC and neither fan running when ignition on engine not runnung, ac switch lit and and fan on 1 - removed connections from fcm to fans - tested each fan on low and high with 12 volts and both fans operated at low and high - replaced...

Well... I disconnected the high pressure switch... at least I think that is what it is... it is next to the firewall, passenger side, next to an a/c valve. It has three connectors inside. The fans are still running when the ignition is on but motor is not running. AC is off and inside fan...
