Exhaust sensor tuning.

Good afternoon. I have a 2012 Jetta tdi that has been giving me some issues for a while. One of the exhaust sensor doesn’t seem to be responding, and despite my best efforts, I still haven’t been able to diagnose the problem. I normally wouldn’t mind too much, but in NY, all the sensors need to be functioning in order to pass the inspection. I had mentioned this problem to a fellow vw enthusiast, and they had mentioned a similar issue, and the way they fixed it was having a tuner just “force ready” the sensor. So, I was wondering if anyone knew of a tuner that knows enough about tdi tuning to do it?

Check the VW dealership to see if you still qualify for the emissions warranty.

And if not, back up and give us better information on what you are actually dealing with. There are lots of sensors in the exhaust system on that car. Do you have some DTC you are trying to diagnose?
