after getting a pretty nasty cut a few years ago, i just covered mine with a piece of black electrical tape. i'd totally forgotten about it until i got that letter last week.
But with diesel being $5.15/gallon, i'm not in any hurry to take it in for the recall.
507 oil is getting harder and harder to find, and getting very expensive, too. My supplier for filters put an order in in October and just the other day got a call to tell them "it's processing now." No indication as to when they will be delivered.
I got an extra oil change kit from ID parts...
follow up... I have the terminal remover tool, and I slid out the blue retaining clip, but those terminals don't seem to want to release. Is there something else I need to do before they'll pop out?

the "D" connector has a mushroom shaped end. It plugs into the wire harness. I can't figure out how to get the two apart.
If there is a special tool, or how to make one, I guess I gotta keep digging to find it...
Thanks for the direction.
I'm stuck. I need to replace the MAF electrical connector (on the other side of the MAF). Any videos on how to do it? I guess it's one of those "D" clips.
TIA.
