I replaced my OE strut mounts after 2 years and 35,000 miles with 034 Motorsport's Track Density MK IV strut mounts. These are designed and manufactured to their specs and can't be sourced through VW. I bought them with some trepidation as I thought they might be too stiff but I've had them in for 2 weeks now and I think they are absolutely essential for crisp handling, and control. They seem to wake the suspension up. If you like to drive your car, the additional vibration will be unnoticed. If you're, uh; sensitive; you'll notice it if you're looking for it; honestly, it's not bad at all. They're worth every penny to me as I will never get OE bushings again because they just don't last where I live. I switched them out using "Wingnut"'s HOW TO http://forums.tdiclub.com/showthread.php?p=703226 it worked great. There is a description of the mounts. http://www.idparts.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=36_66&products_id=1785

Not yet - fuel is too cheap! - 3.2 VR6 R32
You probably don't have any SEAT dealers in the US, so you have to look further afield like Mexico or UK / Europe

My ride height did not change. The car's attitude seems perfect. What I prefer about these is that the rubber is harder; they don't give like stock or OE, requiring more steering input. I cannot emphasize how crisp and responsive it feels. Not as "heavy". Definitely not as heavy.
