I just finished a timing belt/ water pump job on a 15 Passat. The collar on the water pump stuck in the no flow position causing it to overheat. Something to think about when it comes time to replace a pump on these motors, I have them from GRAF without the collar. If you use a pump without the collar that's one less thing to go wrong.

I've had to bump up the price of my CRUA/CVCA timing belt kits due to having to source the tensioners from the dealer. I now have them on the way from my normal source and lowered the price back down to the normal $255. For $115 you can change the water pump to the stock style Hepu pump with the block off collar.

I've been out of the CJAA/CBEA belt kits for a little while. They are slowly rolling in. I have two complete ones today and should have plenty soon. I had to bump the price up to $265. I'm hoping that is a temporary price increase until I get my regular stock.

I had to replace the serpentine belt tensioner for the first time on a CJAA motor and wasn't sure how much I had to take apart to get to the bolt that holds it in. I made a little video showing what needs to be removed to gain access to the bolt.
