Looking to trade my 2000 S2000 Silverstone with 50k miles for a TDI Wagon or a Golf.
Must be Manual, low miles, no accidents, documented maintenance. Don't care if it's modded, but must be done right.
Some info about my car:
2000 S2000 w/ 50k miles. 3rd Owner, others were s2000 enthusiaists and took very good care of the car. All scheduled maintenance is done, Amsoil oil is used every 4k miles. Its not been to the track or raced. New brakes all around. 0 issues. Only mods done are Megan Race coilovers and CAI. Coilovers will be removed before sale. Will come with oem wheels and Khumo ASX tires with more then 50% life left. Winter wheel and tire set not included, but can be added for extra $600.

*Car is pictured without coilovers.
PM me or email me at yavench at yahoo.com
Not looking for 1.8, VR6 only TDI's. Either a straight trade for a clean car or cash on your part. Not looking to add.

A straight trade might be good. There's a 2000 S2000 listed on Autotrader, 35 miles from my home, at a dealer, for under $9k. True, it has 120k miles, but that could be used as a negotiating point for an even lower price. If you're in that same price ballpark you should do OK here.

Folks here are torque-happy, so it might be difficult to find a taker. A stock 90hp ALH has 155 ft-lb of torque @ 1900rpm. The S2000 has 153 ft-lb....@ 7500rpm! A TDI driver would have a hard time figuring out how to drive an S2000....we don't rev much above 3500rpm most of the time. :)

How about a 150K New Beetle. Recent T-belts, shocks, & RC2. Your choice red or blue.

You don't really have many 'good' things to say in FS threads, do you? It seems like you usually find something negative to say...

No thanks on the Beetle, only looking for Wagons and Golfs.

As to the torque comment, there is never a shortage of it. The engine is very rev happy and changing gears are 4-5k rpm is not something abnormal in day to day driving. Above 5800 RPM, its a whole different car. Must drive it to experience it, 8 out of 10 people would fall in love by the way these cars drive. The car gets 31-35 MPG on the highway, 26 City and 30 mixed.

Have a 2003 Jetta TDI GL 4 dr. with 122,500. Car is in good shape, timing belt at 95,000, clutch upgrade to VR6 clutch at 100,000, new rotors and pads at 105,000. Not a wagon or golf but let me know if your interested. Also dealer replaced both front fenders last year. I'm in the Buffalo,NY area.
