Looking for some parts for my 2012 Sportwagen. Need a timing belt kit, a cp3 kit, cp3, and I don’t need but would like a fluidampr and a upgraded lower timing belt cover
Yea no I’m. Aware I might need tuning, already stage 2 and deleted. From what I understand though if the cp3 has the correct metering valve it will be plug and playYou might want to look at the price of a fluid damper... I'd parts for a TB kit. And Cp3 kit you might need tuning with it also
New the kit is 320 without a cp3 and about 800 with the cp3, if it has the correct metering valve there is no need to tune it immediatelyMinus the tune cost, what total additional cost could one expect associated with a cp3 upgrade when adding it to the TB job?
The Stevenson kit needs to be tuned?Stevenson sells the same CP3 from Xman which comes with the correct metering valve so tuning needed.
Think he meant no tuning. Stevenson gets them from xmanturbos. Stock metering valve. The Stevenson kit needs to be tuned?

I asked them about it. They said just tell Malone it's from us. I'd have to ask. But I'm sure it's stock flow metering valveI see
Hopefully o can save a few bucks and get something slightly used. If I don’t find anything by the end of the month I’ll give whitebread a callI asked them about it. They said just tell Malone it's from us. I'd have to ask. But I'm sure it's stock flow metering valve
I doubt it. These cp3 are saught after, plus you need the adapter kit for the pump. The xman ones have welded studs.Hopefully o can save a few bucks and get something slightly used. If I don’t find anything by the end of the month I’ll give whitebread a call
So is it better to get the whitebread kit or the Stevenson kit? They are close to the same priceI doubt it. These cp3 are saught after, plus you need the adapter kit for the pump. The xman ones have welded studs.
I can't answer that question as I have not used either company. Do a couple of Google searches on the companies. So is it better to get the whitebread kit or the Stevenson kit? They are close to the same price

Sorry, i meant to say no tuning needed. Stevenson sells the Xman CP3 kit. The Xman is one of the cheapest. The Stevenson kit needs to be tuned?
Not sure if that's a good or bad thing....Sorry, i meant to say no tuning needed. Stevenson wells the Xman CP3 kit. The Xman is one of the cheapest.
Well IDK... Malone Tuning charge you $100 for a CP3 tune so at least that´s a good thing. Stevenson tune the CP3 for performance but for manual only at least from what i have been told. Don´t know if the Malone Tuning CP3 tune give any performance gains or anything aside for the car to run well with a CP3. I would buy the Xman CP3 from them or Stevenson and forget about it.Not sure if that's a good or bad thing....
Well, tuning for the cp3. I can gain 60whp on stock injectors. Apparently. And if correct metering valve, no tune needed.. also who knows what I'll be charges, as this is the third vehicle. And 5th tune.Well IDK... Malone Tuning charge you $100 for a CP3 tune so at least that´s a good thing. Stevenson tune the CP3 for performance but for manual only at least from what i have been told. Finding those used is prob not easy. Maybe look around at junkyards. Don't think anyone on here will sell there's because it's probably in use. I paid about $800 for my car kit.Bump
Yea I’m doubtful I will, but I’m gonna keep the post up until it’s time for me to do the timing belt, if by then I don’t find anything used I’ll buy it all newFinding those used is prob not easy.
