Summer fuel will gel at sub-zero temps but if you're filling your car regularly by now you have a full tank of winter fuel and really shouldn't need it. I've been driving a diesel pickup in northwestern Connecticut for many winters and the only time I had a problem was a very cold morning in early november with a tank of summer fuel. Other than that I've never actually needed it.fleuger99 said:I've seen some discussion on various auto sites about Diesel fuel gelling in cold winter conditions. Anyone experience the gelling situation?
