If I missed someone or mis-spelled your name, please let me know and I'll get it corrected. We tried to do something different this year. Some thought it succeeded and some thought it didn't. Well, all I can say is we wanted this fest to be different. This allowed anyone to wind something. Even the folks that only bought 6 tickets had a chance. It allowed people with limited funds to still participate and have a potential winner. That's what made it fun. Thanks for the contributions and thanks for participating. I hope the misc. items raffled at the end were fun too? The goal was to make everyone feel at ease and feel as if they had just as good of a shot at winning as anyone else and I didn't want someone with deeper pockets (although they could have purchased more tickets) to out bid someone that really could use the items.

Most importantly, I hope everyone had fun.
Thanks again to the vendors for their contributions.
Without them, the fest wouldn't have been as successful as it was.

See you at next years event if not sooner.
Later,
Jeff

Well I thought that it went well, but I also think that there should be an auction as well. Some of the bigger items such as chips, nozzles, skid plates, half of the heaters, and tuning boxes. I think could have potentially brought in more money by an auction. But having a big selection for raffles is also good and fun and can bring in a good share of cash as well. So all in all, I think a little of both would be good.

I liked the raffle, but agree that probably more money for Fred could have been raised with an auction. Perhaps split off the higher ticket items for an auction.

Of course, I'm not complaining. I had $20 of tickets. I only wanted 2 things, and won one of them! Now if Chuck will bring me the ramps.....

Those ramps are SWEET. www.raceramps.com
Who donated them?
Sorry Bruce, somebody's kid picked my winning ticket, FAIR and SQUARE. (By the way, the young gal's weekly allowance was increased as a result of my rampification)
All I need to do is hide them so she does not cut them into those funky high-heel strap sandals.

Ditto! Unfortunately that choice is not available in the poll...

BTW, Chuck, you have a couple of very nice kids. I enjoyed meeting them.
