Will a low oil pressure event leave OBD evidence?

In this case a potential geared BSM failure?

I did not own the car at the time the low oil pressure warning flashed. The only engine faults are two glow plug P0674 electrical faults, and a coolant temp sensor P0118 intermittent signal error. (There are also central convenience faults, a couple of control module supply voltage, and a bunch of door control faults,)

There are about 80k miles on the geared BSM.

Curious if there's possibly a simple answer before I remove the oil pan.

The oil pressure switch talks directly to the light and is not monitored by the ECU, so no OBD record.

Well, would be more helpful for you if there *was* a record. Sadly, no decisions the ECU has to make based on oil pressure.
