Our hotel room block will be released to general sales on August 1st, 2016. At this point, there are only economy-priced double-queen rooms remaining. The only king rooms left available are the junior suites.

My pay pal shows I payed for my enthusiast membership. I thought that would get me in the the fest. I also noticed that in my posts that it doesn't say enthusiast. Could this have something to do with me not being finalized?? Or is something else I'm missing??? I went into the registration page and as far as I can tell it show that I'm registered and have don't have a balance. The menu's only ask if I want to cancel my registration. Did miss a secret handshake or something. Lol

Okay I see what the problem is. You didn't add any events to your registration (meet & great, group breakfast, fireboat, or banquet), so you don't have a balance, which is why your status is still "pending" for me.

If you can please confirm that your family won't be attending any paid events, I'll go ahead and mark your registration as complete.

How many attendees do you anticipate?

Historically, we end up with 125 to nearly 300 attendees. An average would be around 175-200. I'm not sure how this year will go, since the hotel is on the smaller side, but the location is good for a lot of people.

Just made my hotel reservation, super excited as I really tried to go last year and this is my first year attending! What's the difference for the enthusiast versus contributor? Will the contributor status allow me to bring my children in free of charge as in years past?

Contributor is for 1 adult and children under 18. Enthusiast is for 2 adults and children under 18.

1st time Fest attendee. Wife and I had Door county on our bucket list. Spending a week in Door county then off to Marinette, Wis. to visit my mother. My guess is if you see any city lights to the west across the bay, that is Marinette.

Any unsold hotel rooms will get released to general public sales on August 1st. At the moment, the entire hotel is reserved just for TDIFest attendees.

Many room categories are sold out, but there are still rooms available, as follows:

Six (6) two queen bed rooms in the main lodge
Four (4) Jr. Whirlpool suites with king bed in the main lodge
Eight (8) One-bedroom suites with one queen bed and a pullout sofa in the main lodge

I just saw this, yes, it's been a long time posting and I'm looking forward to meeting you in person also.

This Fest really works for us as we are both "retired" now (I still do a bit of part time work when asked) and my wife's sister lives nearby in Tomahawk, Wisconsin so we will make a visit for a short while.

67 registrations today, and it's the last day to book a hotel room with guaranteed availability.

Unsold rooms at the end of today will be available to non-TDIClub members for the remainder of August, which means the general public can pick up any rooms that haven't been sold.

If you're interested in attending TDIFest, book your room now in order to secure a guaranteed spot. The cancellation policy is very reasonable if you decide that you can't attend.

Just registered. I am driving up from Sheboygan for Saturday only probably. But if I stay until Sunday, all I have to do is drive up to my inlaws in Sister Bay and stay overnight at their place. I am so looking forward to this.

My boss just chuckled when he okay'd my vacation day (usually work Saturday). He is a V-dub driver himself, but a 2.5 5 cyl Jetta. This will be my second fest. Same car. Looking forward to seeing all of you.
