Just thought I would let all the members know about what is available wholesale in the Tdi areana.

2000 Golf 4dr GLS 1,700 miles, 5spd $16,500, auto's 7,000 miles $18,500

2000 Jetta GLS Tdi 5spd, 3500 miles, $18,500, 16,000 miles $17,500, autos with 15,000 miles $18,100

2000 Jetta GL Tdi, auto 23,000 miles $17,400, 5spd, 10,000, $15,900

I have access to these and many more since I buy and sell used cars. I wish I had my dealers license 3 years ago when I bought my '98 Jetta Tdi.

Oh well live and learn.

Hello Russell, I'm honored to correspond with a fellow TDI fan who is a dealer at the other side of the country. Sounds like you were just at the Manheim auction in Atlanta where I saw several TDI's (Manheim on-line) going on the block through VW/Audi Credit. I pretty much stopped going to these type sales because VW dealers are paying very stupid money for these units and I see that seems to be the case on your end also. Your header on this post states "wholesale TDI's for everyone" Does this mean you are going to sell these units to us TDI fans at your wholesale cost? Please tell us more about this.

Yes wholesale, and slightly above my cost as I have to make a profit to stay in business, but thousands below what a typical brick and mortar dealer wants to charge for the same unit. Selling any product for what you paid for it will not put food on the table as best I can see.

Hello again Russell, Oh! you mean like this? http://forums.tdiclub.com/NonCGI/Forum7/HTML/000599.html I just wanted to be sure because I have been accused of gouging and now that you have come along I think all will understand now. I have offered these prime units at a thin profit level to our TDI fans but most already have one. I have been doing very well on the retail end and the Brick & Mortar dealers you refer to are not really in a position to sell these vehicles at a bit over cost due to advertising,salespeople,large facility rent or mortgage,humungus utility bills,porters,recon,etc. as you probably know I could go on and on. There are quite a few VW dealers out there who are making it very hard to acquire these prime low mileage TDI's without paying "stupid money". That is why I am diligently pursuing these units from bank sales nationwide,new car trade-in where the new car store dosn't really know what he has. Otherwise, we will be paying much over book for these units.

What? You got typical responses from people who thik they know everything about cars. If I have a nice car to sell I am not afraid to "ask the money" for it. Just buy them nice and at the right price, then sell them and move on!
