The title says it all, Who is running GT1749V or GT1752?
I need to know whether its streetable and if there is any tuners out there tuning for that turbo on an ALH. I have a chance to get either of those for dirt cheap. Thanks

I think using the SEARCH function (Which is totally for free, you wouldnt believe!) would have given you enough to read for the next few days about this topic....

the GT1749V isn't the awesome VNT15 that comes stock on all the ALH? Very streetable.

Sorry I've gotten into the habit of Googling instead of searching using the search utility on the forum. Its a good/bad habit depending on the forum...

Doh! I feel stupid now. Thanks. I guess its the GT1752 then...

I will make a quick search. Hopefully someone has dyno graphs up.

You mean the 1749VA or 1749VB (VC too?), the VNT-17. And the 1752 aka 17/22.

There's a whole bunch of 1752 dynos.

And what Peter said is correct too.

Here you go. Other mods, too.
Thank you.

I'm talking about SAAB turbo. I wouldn't mind if I had to fabricate some parts to make it work. If I could get 160 or 170 HP I'd be more than happy with it. I just need some "go fast" without making super duper expensive and i can get one of these for relatively cheap. It would be my daily beater.
I just have too many hobbies and not enough income haha. I'm sure a lot of people on here have the same problem.

Duh. Sorry, GT not VNT. Missed that. Don't know how that would work. I suspect it would spool slower, although maybe not a ton. And controlling it may be a challenge, as our turbos are controlled with vacuum. Don't know if the Saab is vacuum or pressure.

yeah thats sounds about right he hs 155whp (180)bhp and the 1.8ts have 150-180bhp but with allot less tourque. i know i pulled raced a 1.8t anerversary 180bhp version and was all over it even with a stock vb (although i maybe have around 190bhp). i think it depends on what situation your in . on the motorway in high gears there mince meat . from a standing start i dont stand a chance
