2002 Jetta manual, 431,000 miles.

I've got a suite of fault codes similar to others in threads here where a new ECU solved the problem. My Jetta is suddenly losing power and feels like it going into a limp home mode. I'm seeing P0234 (overboost), P1441 (EGR valve open or short circuit), P0245 (wastegate solenoid circuit low), P0216 (injection timing circuit control malfunctioning).

I see ECU's on Ebay. I can pull one from a salvage yard myself. I've been seeing ALH's in SoCal salvage yards more commonly recently. I will need an IMMO delete service.

Any recommendations on how best to proceed? Who is a good IMMO deleter?

You can delete the immobilizer yourself using @gmenounos free kw1281test software

Well, that gets me started (kind of). Not a computer guy. A little more searching and I came across the TDI forum thread from gmenounos. Adding it here for posterity and so I can find it again easily.
