Where to buy complete CV Axles? Brand to buy?

Should I buy my CV Axles off RockAuto? What Brand name is better?
I'm leaning toward GSP brand.
Anyone have advice? I'm thinking about doing this myself.
I watched a YouTube video and it doesn't look too hard.

If you can't afford (or refuse to pay) the price premium of Raxles. Then perhaps API after market are an option that may work. Most aftermarket options for the TDI will result in serious dental bills from all the teeth rattling.

I searched for best option I could find for my 05 wagon at 345k. Last axles were O'Reilley MVP remans that were very smooth and served well for 125k. OEM axles are NLA and only remans I could find were Cardones. Multiple options were available on Parts Geek. I saw one positive comment about PDL...

... which is why you should always keep your OE axles so you can rebuild and reinstall them after learning the aftermarket axle lesson.

Raxles are what I recommend. They are the smoothest and last well too. They aren't cheap, but not the worst, at $500 For both iirc.

All the v6 5 speed Passat b5/b5.5 CV axles are the same we use in out TDI 5 speed swapped vehicles.

I believe in 2001.5 the 4 cyl 5 speed axles also got the large flange.

Find some OEM take offs to get rebuilt if you don't want to trial and error the aftermarkets although I never had any issues with my aftermarket axles.

I put Raxles in my 05 Passat several months ago and they're fantastic. However, I had to send in old OEM axles to get them rebuilt, he doesn't regularly have cores lying around to rebuild.
