Had a diesel geek skid plate on my 2010 golf tdi and loved it. Where are the skid plates for the mk7? Someone has to be making them someday.
Dang, he must have sat on the mk6 skid plates since if they would have sold he would have made them for the mk7. All I know is that is a bummer, as that is one solid skid plate. I would buy a diesel geek in a heart beat if he made one for my mk7 golf tdi. When I spoke to Jim at Dieselgeek about this, he stated that the only reason he has not yet produced one yet is becasue he is worried there may not be enough committed buyers yet. After all, it costs a fair amount to design and produce a batch of skidplates. I can see that he would not want to be sitting on stock that doesn't sell...
hmm that does not look to shabby. Though I don't like the square front on it, looks like something that would catch stuff versus sliding over stuff.
That's for a gasser.... no mention of fitting TDI
I would definitely be down for a group buy. Loved my mk6 skid plate from him. Quality piece.I Wonder if we can talk to Jim, and suggest we get a Group Buy type scenario together... seeing what his minimum quantity would have to be to get producing.
I'm down for 1.
