I got a White 2006 Jetta TDI with stock steel 16" wheels, and I was JUST thinking of getting these wheels. What do YOU Think?

I'd go with 16" for accel/racing cause they are lighter

^ I agree! Unless you are just going for an "18" look. I think they will look really good on your car.

That offset is too agressive and they will poke.

what he said... You'd want to keep the offset (ET) at or above 45 for an 18x8 wheel

I never bought wheels before for a car, (Except for my dirt bike BRAAAAP!) I have heard that offset is important, I would like a clean look, Thank You for your INFO!!!!!
So in other words, the wheels I showed would stick out beyond the wheel wells? What exactly does POKE mean?.

You want these. I know your bolt pattern is different than the A4 but I believe they make 5X112 reproductions.

That The Look Brother!!! Where did you get em!!!! That dent is FU#*#$!!!! UP!!!!
If you look around when you drive, everybody has silver wheels!!!! Not Me!! I dig that look.

They are stock VW Aristos from a 20th anniversary/r32. I bought them from a club member in michgan and he had them powdercoated black. The dent has turned in a disaster.

The berbets remind me of the GLI Farenheit and the modas are kinda like the motegi racing wheels I used to have on my jetta. They looked sick, but the car needed a drop along with the 18" wheels.

Go to Tire Rack.com where the pics came from and check out their deals. They are hard to beat.

I prefer chrome but gunmetal might look good and black might contrast to much with white unless you get a polished/chrome lip.

For wheels, I looked everywhere and all prices seemed crazy. Finally one day I was in the Dealer getting my oil and filters and behind me there were a brand new set of the wheels that come witht he beetle turbo S. With brand new Hankooks...
All for 628.00 plus tax... I say I got myself a deal!

Some of the black Konig wheels look pretty cool. The Konig Runaway seem good. I don't know much about Konig though.
