Just a basic question, since my 2004 Golf is going away and I was looking at a 2015, is there any chance I could carry over the 15" 195 60 15 winters or 16" 205 55 16 summers that I already have, or won't be feasible?

Worst case, is it possible to get new wheels and fit either of those tires? I guess it comes down to if the tire width fits (which I think it will), and is the outside circumference of the tire the same, or at least close enough?

The bolt patterns are not the same so you can't just bolt them on. The 2004 used 5X100 and the 2015 is 5X112.

The tires could be used on correct wheels however I'm not 100% sure if 15" wheels will fit over the front brakes. 16" may be the smallest you can go on the 2015.
