My wheel lock key is MIA for my '12 Jetta. Anybody have a solution or know where I can get a replacement? Im an hour and a half from the dealer and am trying to avoid a trip to have them pulled to replace with conventional ones. All I could find through a search were generics. There should be a pic attached of my bolts.

I'm unable to see your image, but id give ecs tuning a try.
If it's the wheel lock like my gf car without an actual key but more so a socket for an adapter to fit in, maybe try a big enough triple square bit. Again just guessing here as I can't see the pic

Yeah I dont know what happened with the pics but it looks almost exactly like the "code E" key on the ebay link which I just ordered. thanks a bunch guys I searched a couple hours and could only find ones like the other ebay listings. Had me worried kind of defeats the purpose of a lock if you can just go buy a key

A couple of months back, while I was getting the tires replaced on my other Jetta 2009, the technician at the tire place had used the lock key and forgot to put it back in the car. Luckily he remembered before I left the shop . Perhaps you could check when/where you did the last tire replacement. It could be there sitting in some toolbox...

If you are going to replace the wheel locks with standard nuts anyway, just ask your dealer if he has a key for your lock.

Most do (should) for such occasions. I removed all the locks off my 2 Volvos and likely will on the Jetta too at some point.
