Which other VW wheels interchange with my 2K Golf wheels? What is the bolt pattern for the Golf? I am looking to get steel wheels for winter tires...

I believe the Y2K Golf, like all the A4 models, is a 5x100 bolt pattern. So the wheels from any VW from '99 or 6 cyl models from '95/'96 on would fit.

If you're just looking for steelies, see if anyone over on VWVortex is upgrading to aftermarket alloys. They may sell you the stock wheels cheap.

Check with a dealer. Many times they'll have a bunch of steel rims from take-offs (customer bought alloys) sitting around collecting dust, rust, & cobwebs. They ought to be happy to dump a set to you for cheap.

A good price for steel wheels/no tires is under $100, I surf on the VWvortex alot (forums, classifieds) they sell them there frequently in that price range. Keep an eye on ebaymotors.com as well, some deals to be found there. Shipping is expensive though, $40+. The dealer will usually want $60+ each for new ones plus hubcaps $50 each....
Any VR6 Golf or Jetta 1993 and newer, all A4 models (1999.5 golf/jetta regardless of engine) will work.
