Wheel GTG in Westminster on June 20th

We will be having Kory, who was repairing wheels, among other things at ImpexFest, over at my house on June 20th. Lito will be coming and we hope to get a few more people in order to make it worth Kory's time.

The Address is:

Time: 9:00 a.m. ~ 4:00 p.m.

Here is some pricing information that Kory shared with Lito:
If a wheel doesn't need much at all, I would obviously discount a bit. Machined finished wheels are usually priced higher than painted wheels. My normal dealer price is $100 for painted and $150 for machined and 2-toned. $80 each is my club discount. So a full set of 4, I could discount to $280 or it would be $80 each if they didn't need all 4 refinished

All are welcome, whether you need a wheel repaired or not, but please let me know if you are looking to have a repair done.

Here's one of the wheels Kory repaired. It had deep scuff/scratches curb rash on two of the spokes. He repaired the scratches, painted each area and then clear coated the entire wheel.

To buy an aftermarket wheel is $150 shipped so this is much cheaper

It looks brand new. You can see the reflection of the fluorescent lights in the parking garage on the wheel.



Jeff, if you don't get enough interest, I can contact Kory directly and have my wheel work done. I don't mind paying full price for his good work.

can bent wheels be fixed? i.e. I hit a curb head-on, popped the tire, bent the wheel, and ruined the bearing. I bought a new wheel, but still have the old one. Maybe it can be fixed and I can use it as a spare?

I do believe that he can repair bends. He did let Lito know that he would repair Bent rims for $75 for us. It will be up to Kory to determine whether he can repair it or not.

He can do a bend, but not if its on the front face. Rear part of the rim or inside the drum as he explained it to me.

My JSW DSG is dead and its wheels are new & flawless but I have some 2013 Subaru STI wheels that have minor curb rash around the edges. Not sure if if that matters but they are forged BBS wheels and have a gunmetalish shiny finish and look like this:

Jeff, Thanks for hosting and for the brats at lunchtime. It took me over an hour and a half to get home. Big wreck on the JFX southbound a bit north of Northern Parkway. Backed up almost to Ruxton Road. Volvo XC on its roof in the middle lane and another car up the embankment.
