Whats needed for a steering wheel swap?

I bought a DSG GTI steering wheel with paddle shift, but no airbag. I thought the airbag would swap over to the new steering wheel from my stock wheel, but apparently thats not the case. So what other parts am i missing, to get the GTI steering wheel to work? Do i need the specific airbag for the gti steering wheel? Both parts are for an MK6. My stock wheel is for a sportwagen.

You'll need the GTI airbag as well as VCDS to code the paddles.

Just bought a steering wheel from a GTI with the paddle shift option and it has part number: 5KO 419 091 E ASY

That will work with a 2013 JSW TDI correct?

it definitely should work. I have 2014 JSW. they pretty much are the same Golf platform.
