My wife is Lebanese, I don't have to imply, she would rather be in the kitchen or laundry room.

But, yes I will drive us to dinner. :)
Lucky for you, so you get to enjoy wonderful home cooked meals and all your shirts and pants are nicely pressed.;)

Not so luck me... after the SO got her dream kitchen she decided I need to go on a DIET to lower my colestoral!
Now I can only look and admire all the wonderful state of the art appliances and be content with salads/vegeterian meals and the occassional fish/chicken but no red meat!:(
The only gain is I lost 45lbs!:D

So now since I cannot enjoy food I might as well indulge in CARS! He He He!:D:D:D

Think about it. If 90% of the TDI exhaust was water, there would be torrent of water coming out of the exhaust the whole time it was running. That would be funny to imagine.
Hydrocarbons and air go in, BANG, carbon dioxide and water go out.

Unless somebody invents hydrocarbon fuels with 95% hydrogen and 5% carbon, 90% water won't work ;)

As a sales person, I wouldn't want to claim such outrageous things - there could be customers who didn't sleep through chemistry class.

Caught the Diesel fever 14 months ago when I bought my first Diesel (335d). The awesome power and excellent FE convinced me that I have to get another Diesel to replace my other vehicle (a gas guzzling SUV that swallows gas @ 12.5L/100KM).

When the 2011 Jetta TDI was out I went and test drove it and knew that it's the one to replace the gaser.
I spent a few months brain washing her on the benefits of the TDI and how it can save over $350.00/month in gas with the amount of driving I do.

Last Monday while she was at work I went in and signed a lease for the new Jetta TDI but was not sure how to break it to her without her freaking out!
I waited till the next morning and broke the news to her during breakfast.
I apologized to her for not telling her first but felt that it's time to let the SUV go and make the complete switch to Diesel.
She bought the idea and asked me about the lease deal.
I told her it's for 48 months @ 4.9% interest, $0 down &$387/month and we can sell the SUV privately.
She said "What's the financing cost?"
I said "$3,998.00".
She said "Are you stupid or what? Why pay 4.9& interest when your $ is sitting in your bank earning <1% interest? Go back to the dealer and trade in the SUV and pay cash for the difference!"
I said "Yes Dear":D
