installed my cp3 pump. saw that my water pump seal was leaking. everything else looked fine. not sure what if anything id parts will do about it. Threw the stickies on the front to try them. they poke a little more than id like. but they were cheap. ill upload a pic when its nice enough to run all 4. Changed my oil. Trying to figure out why my dsg shifting issues went away after the cp3 and tune.... Related to boost or fueling?

Wow! How old is the water pump? Dunno if you did the timing belt lately.

as for the tune, yeah tune does wonders to the fueling and smoothes out the engine. I’m curious…. Did she used to buckle a bit when you let go of gas pedal at low mph speed? (While she was stock that is)

Was done at 117k little over a year ago. Bought from Id parts. I'd say it started seeping recently because there was no crusties. So within the week maybe. Cleaned the hole and pump, checked it, and added a bit of rtv to the mating surface. Yes, I know I shouldn't have. I'll sell with it when they get back to me.

I kind of general question here. Should I replace my timing belt being diesel fuel got all over it? I have about 40,000 left on my interval.

When I did my pump upgrade, I splooshed a little fuel on my 5k mile old timing belt (my cp3 pump showed up literally 5 days after I did my original timing belt)....I didn't want to risk it so I ordered a continental belt from Diesel Geek and they had it to me in 2 days.

About 150 miles. 90% of it highway. So I'd be wise to buy a used one from Europe to have as a spare... Good to know it's a 12 month unlimited mile warrenty.

Replaced the tailgate lock actuator, and replaced blown headlight with LEDs. Still on the fence with this "upgrade," as I have the error code and I don't think the so-called Error Decoders would fit inside the rears of the headlamp housings.

what LED company did you use? I used DeAutoKey LEDs and zero issues.

After nearly 50,000 trouble free miles, my car sprung a glow plug light and limped home the last mile with no beans at all. Plugged in a generic scanner, VCDS was taking too long to update, and found p0045. Thanks to the good people of this forum, I quickly found a broken wire right where it exits the plug at the boost controlsolenoid (n75?). They sure made this harness tight. I'm pretty sure I have these terminals at work in a drawer somewhere, or maybe in my shed, I don't remember.my old fingers are going to hate this.

Unfortunately I did not buy from Deautokey(sp). I paid $30 for mine, and used the product reviews in my selection. However, as I have a 2011, the Deautokey site seemed to redirect me to another link that only sold HID kits.

I´m thinking of getting a CP3 upgrade to my CJAA. I´m thinking of getting it from Xman but IDK right now. If several go lately. I will wait a couple of month to do it. After that then maybe the Xman CR170 Hybrid at least.

Who knows if it's a supplier or they are training a new person or an irate past employee. This new one seems fine.

Yeah i know some people here or in FB groups who have the Stevenson CP3 kit which is the same as the Xman CP3 kit or they brought it from Xman and is working fine so far... at least more than 5,000 miles.
