That’s awesome! It’s $1.60L cad here which is not great that comes out to 4.48 US a gal if my math is correct.I just paid $2.95 a gallon, and the other side of the lake was $2.55.
Which would have been $3.18 using a U.S. based credit card with the exchange rate when I was on Walpole Island last year. 71 cents on the dollarThat’s awesome! It’s $1.60L cad here which is not great that comes out to 4.48 US a gal if my math is correct.
Canadian cards are billed in $CAD. For foreign purchases the original amount and currency are noted on the bill. They usually charge a premium on the exchange rate.Which makes me wonder if your Canadian cards do the same thing?
I’ve used my debit card in the US before. The second time I tried that it didn’t work though.Which makes me wonder if your Canadian cards do the same thing?
That would be a good price up north here we hover around $1.90L on average. That’s awesome! It’s $1.60L cad here which is not great that comes out to 4.48 US a gal if my math is correct.
I got mine from I'd parts. Wasn't a pierburg brand. I think it was a delphi. It's 8-9 psi at idle and usually pulls down to 5ish at wot high rpm. Never seen it hit 10 psi ever.Just installed the second new PD in tank pump. Checked pressure, 20psi gauge is pegged at max. Like w t f... So I tried another gauge. Reads 22-26 psi. Checked old part number, part number on top of unit is proper and should be 0.8bar and I get 1.5
Oh no...

i got a couple VIKA pumps a while back.. apparently "supplier issue" wrong pump, right part number ... so much pressure it ended up blowing off the return lines on a test drive 25F out 10pm cold winter night. blew out 5gals of diesel thruought the engine bay.. was not a fun mess to clean upI got mine from I'd parts. yep. Spent 2 days chasing a fuel leak, then on day 3 blew the last injector cap off while I was an hour out of town, and then another leak.i got a couple VIKA pumps a while back.. apparently "supplier issue" wrong pump, right part number ... so much pressure it ended up blowing off the return lines on a test drive 25F out 10pm cold winter night. blew out 5gals of diesel thruought the engine bay.. was not a fun mess to clean up
any car yo have, take a little zip wheel and put a little notch in the plastic 6-8" above bottom, warm it up and use a screwdriver to melt that cut into a round opening facing inward. every time you got a hose or pressurewasher handy, squirt it into that hole you made.Had about 30ish small parking lot dings removed, added 33% ceramic window tint (mainly for the insane Texas heat in the summer), added new lights, bug shield and cleaned out the dreaded front fenders. Yikes, Im genuinely surprised these haven’t rusted out.

I just cut the bottom 1" off the fender liner. Basically self cleans the crap out. Nope, doesn't look the best, but it doesn't collect all the road crud either.any car yo have, take a little zip wheel and put a little notch in the plastic 6-8" above bottom, warm it up and use a screwdriver to melt that cut into a round opening facing inward. every time you got a hose or pressurewasher handy, squirt it into that hole you made.
amen^^^^^^ First thing I did to all our VW’s , every single one I had gotten was packed with debris.
I'd also be worried about the amount of dirt and debris get kicked in there from the tireI clean mine out multiple times per year. I just took out the retaining screws so that it just sits there due to form and can be pulled forward by hand. This allows easy cleaning with the pressure washer.
Don't rocks kick back and take the paint off? Id be worried about rocks taking paint off then rust setting in maybe im wrong though?
Sunroofs are a deal breaker on every marketplace TDI potential purchase I look at. Luckily it has kept me from buying a lot of carsIt is -12 Celsius this morning, and the sunroof decided by itself pop up open while driving on the highway. Had to to move the dial to open and back for it to close itself.
Hasn't really been an issue, as far as I can tell. Just the benefit of not holding crap/moisture against the inner fender well and rocker out weighs any small rock chip. that will inevitably get treated, and recoated when I do the yearly rust prevention anyway. (Which, I'd love to make it a bi-yearly thing.) Just need to use something that sets up semi hard in those areas. Been liking the noxudol I've been using recently for that very reason. Doesn't just magically vanish like wool wax does after a driving in the rain.I clean mine out multiple times per year. Mine randomly opens just enough to create wind noise once in a blue moon. Maybe half a dozen times in 15 years. Weird. It is -12 Celsius this morning, and the sunroof decided by itself pop up open while driving on the highway. Had to to move the dial to open and back for it to close itself.
Curious how you like the solid bracket bushings.Installed Dieselgeek short shifter and tyrolsport shifter bracket bushings.
