How to tell if diesel rated? While you're at it - get a -30inHg to +15 PSI pressure gauge, an 8mm tee and a couple pieces of hose and then you can stop guessing and actually diagnose the problem.
I picked up a multi-pack of these "ear-clamps" that have lots of small sizes for just such occasions. (Can't find exactly where I ordered them, but I recall the clamps only - already have the pliers - being under $10)The little metal hose clamps continue having trouble sealing the rubber hose

I just finished-up work on my son's 2000 TDI. I put back the old CV Joints ...... that sucks! I've had his car in my garage almost a month doing a crap load of things to it .......... the biggie was the Blend Doors which I posted about that recently.
I think tomorrow I'll go shopping somewhere else on-line! (Hey, and over the years, I purchased a lot of parts from IDParts.)
Yeah, but I needed the parts at least two weeks ago. I wanted to get the car in and out as I have things to do to my Tiguan before winter hits. Then, I'll keep my Van inside all winter. So, the window of opportunity closed on my son's car for at least three months. You can place your order, then send an email with your order number and request ship complete.

I’m still stoked to try this outCat year sometime i bought a set of 3d printed mus flaps for the front of the car. One broke fairly quickly, the vendor sent out replacments. Just busted another one this morning. Drive through a half frozen mud puddle in the lane, tire broke through and the mud flap got broken off when it hit the ice. (My best guess any way.) Think it's time to make some mud flaps out of rubber this time around.
I live in Fernie, and if you know Fernie, we are famous for our snow. These have held up wonderfully! I cannot recommend them enough, I love them.I’m still stoked to try this out
Cheap DIY rally mudflaps.
I have never done a how to, but I wanted to give back to the community and share my process. Even if it is a bit of a lame one, it was fun and I like the look of the end product. Enjoy! So I have always wanted mudflaps on my golf, but do not want the OEM style that covers the paint and causes...forums.tdiclub.com
Wonder how these would hold out in the deep white stuff ?

Neighbors and I got our private road open only to find the Township hasn't ploughed - some snow emergency excuse I guess there won't be any cops to tell me I can't ride my sled on the highwayTrees down everywhere, rest of the day will be clearing them off the road, hopefully before the generator runs out of gas
I wish we had enough snow around here to justify a sled. There is enough in the mountains but that is also dangerous at pointsNeighbors and I got our private road open only to find the Township hasn't ploughed - some snow emergency excuse I guess there won't be any cops to tell me I can't ride my sled on the highway
Yes! That's the one I was thinking of.I’m still stoked to try this out
