Put on summer tires and new wiper blades. $46/pair?! Dealer price. Didn't want to go to the dealer but needed them and glad I stopped, I didn't realize it but the car wash must have ripped one off. It was missing. Ha.

Did about half of the 40K service everything but the DSG fluid change. Fuel and oil filter oil change and cabin air filter. I did it topside with a mitivac vacuum pump and did the fuel filter without a programmer to prime it. I just drained the filter housing, cleaned it completely. Then I poured in some power service diesel fuel additive and replaced the filter. I topped off the housing to the point or slightly beyond where it was when I first opened it. Reinstalled the lid and pow it started right up no issues, no long cranking etc. It sounded like it always does when starting.

Same here. The price is crazy...completely caught me off guard during the 20k service. No one to blame but myself...but think Ill look for an alternative next time.

Other than that...just got it washed and fueled up in time for another work week.

Sorry, it's a nice day today so I'll try to snap a better shot. My car is so dirty tho... They are 17" VW Portos powder coated a dark bronze that basically looks like super dark graphite, almost black. Slightly bigger offset too.

I didnt realize that the offset wouod be different. Im going to put my jetta's stock wheels on my golf.

It may only be by a small amount, and I could totally be imagining things, but I believe the wheels are a half inch wider, so the offset is probably about a quarter inch more to split the difference. Still not close to rubbing the fender...

Had it for about 2 months. Just did tint and emblems so far. 35% front, 5% rear. Just got the euro switch in the mail. so that goes in tonight.

Took out the base radio and put in a xtrons that has gps, dvd, and backup camera. Everything is working except I need to run 12v to the antenna amp. I also don't have the bluetooth working because my phone keeps linking to the VW unit. I have to get out my computer and cable and turn the VW unit off. I will miss the voice dialing that the VW has but I don't think is an option on the new radio.

I was on the fence. It's refreshing to have a new look now and then though. My car has taken on a few looks and I like them all. It really needs to be lowered a little bit though!
