Yeah I know, I spent the weekend wondering how I managed to accumalate 20hrs worth of driving timeTrip 2 resets itself after a certain number of miles or time. Normal operation.
I did this too, exceptWash
Claybar
Wax
Cry (because I spent 5 hrs doing it)
Looks very nice and clean!I changed out my stock running lights for some nice error free LED lights! I know its a small little thing, however this is the first modification to the new TDI that I have done myself, I was always getting help from my more experienced VW friends like with the interior LED's and radio install. It felt good to be back in the groove of working on my own car!

I also took off my front plate and the plug mod for it. Doesn't look too bad, I might end up tossing a Euro plate on the front anyways. (my actual number and letter combination, nothing crazy)

Nothing a little buffing compound can't fix.Gahhh!! In my allergy altered state I used a bounty towel to wipe off various bird crap spots....swirl nation all over the new car!!!
A few days after I picked up my 2013 TDI Premium I did this:
Washed, clay bar, waxed with a buffer, gloss enhancer, luster enhancer, final quick detailer wipe down & also waxed the rims. The car looked almost invisible with that mirror reflection.

I added a set of new wheels to my 2013 TDI today. The wheels are OEM 18in Bristols that came off of a Passat. Below is the before and after. the after pic doesn't do them justice. They really make the car look much better, and IMO the offset is perfect for these cars. I hope they don't kill my MPG too much.
