replaced the sway bar bushings this morning, ordered new brackets but the lip on them were not large enough to be able to use. A lot quieter!

Mocked up my New South full gauge pod with my boost gauge to determine how I'm going to run the plumbing. Changed out my HVAC bulb, liscense plate bulbs, and DRL bulbs.

Finished my fuel system, put the nose back on my car, put my intercooler pipes in, cleaned out about a pound of dirt from behind my fender liner...

If you've got a Mk3 I highly recommend popping out the two 8mm bolts on the fender liner behind the front wheels and scooping out all the crud that builds up in there. Talk about a rust farm!

Lowered my idle back to 903. After 1k+ miles on the BFI stage 1 mounts they've really smoothed out. The car feels great now. So, anyone with a modded TDI burning up stock mounts and is on the fence about BFI, go for it!

Where I grew up on the Canadian prairies, we'd view that as "just begging the winter/snow gods to smite you with a nice 6 inches or so one more time - just for good measure". :)

...and that's why my MXV4 'summer' tires are M&S rated lol
The Xi3 winter tires came off last weekend :D

I swapped my rear doorcard inserts, cloth for leather. I hoped to do the fronts, too, but ran out of time.

Birthday dinner: lamb, micro-greens salad, vino, chocolate cake.

Got IBW approved for warranty rust repair. New tailgate, repairs to fenders and rockers. I'm gong to get the front bumper cover painted too, and finally replace the rear wiper motor so the washer works properly.

Tried to track down the source of all oil leaking from my engine compartment, the valve covet and or the oil cap gasket. Ended up inserting a lot of heli-coils in the vc bolt holes and doubled up my oil cap gasket.

I wish I had a pic, but underneath the PD valve cover its not very clear to me how the ccv gases escape. There is an hourglass shaped metal disc that blocks the vapors from escaping. Well, I did a metaldiscectomy in hopes of oily vapors escaping there instead of my oil cap. Time will tell.
