Hey guys,

I have a 2013 jetta TDI. The speedometer stopped working, my mileage is stuck, fuel gauge is inaccurate (moves up and down whenever I boost). Only thing working is my RPM gauge.
Check engine light is on, glow plug light is flashing, airbag light flashes when car starts and a few seconds later stays steady, steering light on.

Wheel speed sensors: Front wheel speed sensors have been changed, but the car is still not registering the speed for the 2 front wheels when I plug it on the VCDS. The 2 rear ones are reading the speed just fine.

I'm curious as to what can be causing all of this.
Any advice is appreciated.

Brake light switch was replaced, so code is gone now
Still stuck with the rest, all my modules are in the red, I'm guessing it's due to the CAN gateway?

Also, live data shows the speed for both rear wheels, nothing for the front though.
If the ABS module is dead, wouldn't it show 0 kmh for all 4 wheels?

Replaced front wheel speed sensors, still nothing. Thinking of replacing the front tone rings, is it a good idea? I don't want to replace the ABS module if i'm not 100% sure it's the problem.

I will check the wiring to the sensors.
If not, i’ll replace the bearings.

I went to the dealership for a recall, and they scanned the car for me. They said that the module needs replacement and that they can’t communicate with it. What do you think of that?

I know, it doesn’t make any sense… This is why I have a hard time believing that my ABS module is dead.

Also, I went into the can gateway installation list to find out that the ABS module was unchecked. So I checked it, and now I have the ABS and traction lights on my cluster (they weren’t there before).

The “no communication with ABS module” is gone from most - not all of the modules..

If the ABS module was replaced but is not the same part number and/or coding as the original, that might explain the data inconsistencies.

I will check the front wheel speed sensors tomorrow, hopefully that fixes everything. I will post back here.
