Hi,

I'm mostly curious to see how many other A3s will be there. But let's get a cross-section of who's driving what...

Scott, I would love to drive the Jetta. Unfortunately, the wife does not think it is comfortable on long trips. Insists we take the Golf. At least it's a TDI!

Good poll idea. If it's truly complete of the attendence at the Fest, it would be helpful to divide out the classes for the show-'n-shine.

Quicksilver doesn't want to be classed in the same company as Tomo and Eric's rides (no offence to you guys but utmost flattery)

already done - there will be several show and shine categories. we really ought to just start making a trophy for "that thing that eric brought this year that everyone would give their firstborn to own." it'd be a little hard to put on a trophy, though.

I am not sure anyone is driving a V10 to the fest. That one

reply is me, and I was replying to the "swap" portion of

the category. If all goes well, I'll be driving my '91 Jetta

with complete A3 AHU TDI drivetrain. The fenders might still

be in primer, though. Oh, I should add RC 2.0 to my sig.

Bitterly disappointed, I will not be driving my 91 TDI conversion to the 'fest. Who knew that getting a manual
steering rack would be the hardest part of the whole thing?
So I'll be in my 1.6 Rabbit p.u. Maybe I'll bring along my homemade tubing beader if anyone is building custom intercooler pipes and is seeking inspiration. Sigh...

Well - fuel injector hold-down brackets are rare as hens teeth. So instead of my Jetta we'll be arriving this evening in a 98 Chevy Astro.
It's either that or we won't be there until noon tomorrow.

That make you feel any better Derek?

I have one coming in - just it won't be here until tomorrow morning. I'd rather be hanging out TDIless than miss the events tonight and tomorrow morning. Hitting the road now - see you in a couple or three hours.
