hah, so it is, was looking at may's calender, anyways maybe the 4th or 11th of june would be better then the last weekend of may, thats kindof what i was gettin at, or maybe not, doesnt really matter to me

Well, if it's a GTG, I'll be there the 28th, 29th, 4th, 5th, etc. You know me!
I'm up for whatever day meets with a concensus. Personally, I'd vote for a GTG once a month throughout the summer, but that isn't really feasible for those of you who actually have a life....

If we go for May 28 as originally proposed and seconded, that dosen't prevent the die hards from additional GTGs later in the summer. My vote is for 5/28 and keep the party going per Keith's suggestion.

Looks like the general concensus is for this Saturday at Ft. DeSoto Park. For those who haven't made it to one of these yet, we typically meet up in the morning down at the north end (?)...go to the left when you come to the "t" in the road facing the big American flag, and follow that road all the way to the end. As we get closer to lunch time, we'll head back toward the main road...there's a section there on the left (just before the entrance road) with grills and a nice playground for any youngsters (or even oldsters who feel young).

I cant make it on the 28th. I will be at Ft DSesoto but on a boat with some friends from Chicago that area wanting to see warm weather and get a tan. Maybe next time.
Oh, Ft Desoto on Memorial Day weekend can take hours to get thru the toll booths to get on the Island. Thats why I take the boat to get there.

. Just got back from a two week vacation in Europe
where everyother car was a TDI.
VW - Polos Tourans Sharons, Passats, SEAT; and they all flew by the '93 Honda Civic gasser I was driving...
Somehow I got this backwards driving a TDI over here and a gasser over there...
Oh and all those red <font color="red"> I</font>'s and <font color="red"> DI </font>'s ... It's just not fair...

Well, this one was kinda anti-climatic. I got there at 10:00...no-one else showed up by 11:00, so I left.
Was majorly bummed, but since I was up a tad too late the night before, I went home and caught up on my power-napping. Guess I'm getting old....
Anyway, I'm thinking that since a few of us have done some big mods lately, a GTG at the Desoto race track might be good. Any takers?

yeah terribly sorry i didnt make it, i know i really wanted to visit my first GTG but had to work late (3am, so i didnt get to sleep till 4am) i seriously tried to wake up, but didnt till 11 and by then i wouldnt have gotton there till after noon, i really hope to make it to the next. im really interested in finding some knowledgeable people to talk to about mods and biodiesel
