Gee willikers!
it’s been a solid decade since I last hosted a Michigan GTG. Time flies! (when yer gettin’ old)
No matter. Kirk and Linda have done a hell of a job maintaining the clubhouse.
I’m going to try my best to make it.

All TDI's - No gassers! Luxo-Tourer = 13 Passat (hands down, the nicest car we've ever owned), Most fun = MK4 Golf

Well, I have to attend this since I've not missed one yet at Kirk's. He won't like it if I don't come by for the day so... ;)

Gordon - LOVE the period correct mint green on your F100!

Hi Kirk,
It’s been quite a few years and I’m not sure if you remember me, but I would like to tentatively RSVP to this GTG. I haven’t had a tdi for a long time, but my bro who lives in CT just picked up a 2012 Golf tdi and he may come back for a visit that weekend. If he comes along, then my bro with a 2002 Jetta tdi would also likely attend. I will follow up by the end of next week if that’s ok. Thanks for hosting!

Hi, Kirk. Mike Bradford, here... I will definitely be attending... Prolly need to bring the new-to-me '14 Golf TDI instead of the big Mercedes this time around. Looking forward to seeing everyone. (I also told Matt W about the GTG... he said he'll prolly come down, too). TTYL!

I find that I am in a scheduling conflict. I can't make those 2 days. I don't suppose you could push it up a week, just for me? LOL!

Will there be any tuners there? Id like to get rid of this pesky hot start delay. I feel like its taking years off my starter!!

No, back in the Jackson area.

WTB: standard gray mkiv rear view mirror, 2dr crank window parts, silver Golf body panels and bumpers in nicer shape than what I have.... that's all I can think of.

There might be a mk4 with crank windows at Sand Lake Auto. It had manual mirrors I remember because I was looking for a mirror. I don’t recall if it was a Jetta or Golf. They’re open on Saturdays

Dang it. Looks like I won’t be able to make it, thought I was going to be near the area around that time but plans kinda fell through. 😢

I don't usually keep much from the interiors (running out of space for that), I think I have a good front bumper cover for a Golf though in black.

FWIW - I have a rust free set of all four doors for Jetta wagon in Indigo Blue, and I still have a rust free (Texas) set of B4V doors and rear hatch in Black, however there aren't many B4V's on the road anymore.
